Intended to conciliate contemporary design, eco-design and low cost, the small Tiga lamp is the synthesis of a wide range of design constraints.
In my design research, I opted for a cheerful, playful lamp with a geometry composed of simple shapes. Inverted cones for the base, in the spirit of a diabolo. And a mushroom-shaped dome for the diffuser, making the light all the more diffused and soft.
Eco-design is the tip of the iceberg. It may not seem like it, but TIGA uses certified recycled plastic, not only to make the lamp as compact as possible for low-carbon transport.
Tiga is developped for Inspire and is available in Leroy Merlin stores and website.
